Quality Assurance and Quality Control is central to how Unitech Concrete operates. Every mix design is trialled and rigorously vetted before production and delivery. Our dedicated Central Laboratory continuously monitors industry trends and supports the development of value-added products, so our clients receive not just compliant concrete, but the right concrete for their application.
Our QA-QC programme covers:
Ideally in site conditions maximum 5 m3/hour concrete can be produced by primitive manual methods. Whereas, in an automatic 30m3/hour batching plant effortlessly 24 m3/hour of high quality concrete can be produced thus ensuring fivefold increase in speed of construction.
The total requirement of procurement and storage can be avoided only by deciding in favour of ready mix concrete. Negotiation with vendors for rates and ensuring required quality and quantity of the incoming materials is a tedious and difficult job, consumes lot of time and extra manpower. Ensuring on time supply of cement, admixers etc. again requires additional efforts and cost. Storage of sand, aggregates requires lots of space in site. One can get rid of all these difficulties by using ready mix concrete.
Requirement of manpower is considerably reduced in use of ready mixed concrete. Quality is ensured by Unitech Concrete resulting in further save in manpower cost. The benefit of cost saving directly benefits the end users.
Wastage of materials is avoided in ready mix concrete by using mechanized means of aggregate feeding and close water tight cement silos.
Unitech Concrete is determined to produce high quality concrete for its customers. Latest and advanced automatic load cell based plant and machineries help us produce high quality and accurate quantity concrete. Meticulous quality checks of all incoming raw materials and stringent systematic checks of produced concrete shall ensure that our customers get the best available concrete in the market.
Combination of low or no wastage, reduced manpower and high quality coupled with enhanced speed of construction it can be easily said that the ready mix concrete is superior than site mixed concrete. So, if one considers the above facts ready mix concrete is cost effective and the customers are directly benefitted by using ready mix concrete.
Policy Statement: Unitech Concrete is committed to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of every contractor, employee, visitor and customer who interacts with our operations, and to preventing pollution in the communities where we work. Occupational health and safety carry the same priority at every plant as sales, cost control and production — safety is never traded off against output.
How we meet this commitment: regular training and HSE promotional activities that build safety awareness across our workforce throughout the year; rigorous environmental monitoring of air, water and noise at every operational plant to keep pollution within safe limits; and health initiatives, including periodic and pre-employment medical check-ups, that support a healthy, productive workplace for our employees and associates.
At Unitech Concrete, we aim to provide a safe working environment that protects the health and safety of our employees, clients, visitors and the public.
At Unitech Concrete, we run a range of HSE promotional activities across our locations, including National Safety Week, Road Safety Day, Machine Safety Day and Environment Day.
At Unitech Concrete, we treat environmental protection as one of our foremost responsibilities. We therefore monitor air, water and noise pollution rigorously at each of our plants to maintain a healthy environment.
At Unitech Concrete, we run a range of health-related initiatives for our employees and job candidates, including medical check-ups and clean drinking water at our worksites.
Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) is concrete manufactured at a batching plant to a precise, specification-driven formula, combining cement, water, and aggregates. It is transported to site in a fresh, unhardened state, ready for placement.
Beyond standard grades, we offer specialised concrete formulated for specific structural or performance requirements, from lightweight and self-compacting mixes to high-early-strength and porous concretes. Our team works with clients to identify the right solution for their application.
Every batch is backed by regular testing of incoming raw materials and daily testing of finished concrete at our Central Laboratory. We continue to research and refine our mix designs for specialised applications as part of our ongoing QA-QC programme.
Our client-facing team is available to support enquiries, order scheduling, and technical queries, from initial estimate through to delivery and after-sales support.
